Description
The Kamakhya Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pitha & situated on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati city in Assam, India.The temple consists of four chambers: Garbhagriha and three mandapas locally called Calanta, Pancharatna and Natamandira aligned from east to west. Being the centre for Tantra worship this temple attracts thousands of tantra devotees in an annual festival known as the Ambubachi Mela. Another annual celebration is the Manasha Puja. Durga Puja is also celebrated annually at Kamakhya during Navaratri in the autumn.

Itinerary
Itinerary Overview:
Upon your arrival in Guwahati, you will meet our representative/driver at the airport who will take you to your pre booked hotel. Evening, enjoy sunset cruise on mighty river Brahmaputra on direct payment basis Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Early morning visit Kamakhya Temple (Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark), Bagala Temple and Bhuneswari temple, Umananda Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Ugratara Temple, Sukleswar Temple, Balaji Temple, Bhimasankar Jyortingling, Basistha temple and Emporium. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Guwahati airport for your onward journey.

Tour Cancellation Policy - If the package is cancelled by client:
- 10% cancellation charge + Rs. 1,000 per person will be charged if the booking is cancelled 30 days before departure
- 25% cancellation charge + Rs. 1,000 per person will be charged if the booking is cancelled between 29th to 7th days before departure
- No refund if cancelled within 7 days before the departure
