The temple complex houses many shrines including the Krishna Janmasthan Temple, which surrounds the prison cell where Krishna was born. Further, continue your drive to Agra. On arrival, check into the hotel. Enjoy a visit to the Agra Fort and Dayal Bagh (Private). Later in the afternoon, visit the Agra Fort and Dayal Bagh. The massive red sandstone Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates and the best example of Mughal Civil Architecture commissioned by Emperor Akbar. Dayal Bagh, known simply as Swami Bagh, is the headquarters of the Radhasoami sect. This huge white marble mausoleum houses the tomb of Swamiji Maharaj (or Shiv Dayal Singh Seth), the founder of the Radhasoami faith. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri a perfect example of fusion between the Hindu figurative decoration and the Mughal geometrical pattern. Thereafter, continue your drive to Jaipur. This morning, after breakfast, drive to the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amer Fort followed by a visit to the City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Situated on a ridge on the outskirts of the city, the fort-palace complex of Amer (also known as Amber) is surrounded by fortified battlements overlooking the Maota Lake. Known for its artistic style, it blends both Hindu and Mughal elements, as seen in its large ramparts, monuments and series of imposing gates and cobbled pathways. Later, visit the sections of the City Palace a repository of Rajasthani artifacts and culture. It houses a remarkable collection of Rajasthani costumes, and armory of Mughals and Rajputs, an art gallery, intricately designed carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomicalworks. Finally, you proceed to the awe-inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical observatory built in the 18th century.
